Transport Efficiency Days- free seminar Aug 28-29 (Gothenburg)

Which are the future challenges within transport efficiency? Meet and listen to leading researchers and representatives from the public and private sector in the field of transport and logistics.

28–29 August, CLOSER, Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg organise a large conference about transport efficiency. We promise a busy program and two days with lots of interesting presentations and discussions about future transportation.

The research field – where are we today?
During the first day of the conference, we will discuss transport efficiency from a holistic approach. We will highlight what transport efficiency is, for whom it is interesting and how to influence.
Tuesday, 28 August, from 18:00 to 21:00
Mingle in the archipelago and dinner at Lindholmen
17:30 to 18:30 We mingle during a cruise in the beautiful archipelago of Gothenburg
19:00 to 23:00 The evening ends with a buffet dinner at Restaurant R Lindholmen
Wednesday, 29 August, from 09:00 to 16:00 (In Swedish)
What do the practical solutions look like?
On Wednesday, we will focus on logistics solutions, business models and steering instruments. We will present on-going and recently completed transport efficiency projects within the focus areas of CLOSER; High Capacity Transport, Green Corridors and Urban Transport.
