I've noticed there doesn't seem to be any mention of language-swap on this site, but I think given InterNations' reach, it's a great platform for members to exchange their language (or other) skills for mutual benefits.
Anyway, I am of Chinese origin, speak fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). I have grown up in London, and had been studying French and Spanish for a couple of months a long time ago when I was working in the UK.
Now I am in Guangzhou for a long break and as I have plenty of time on my hand, I think it's a great opportunity for me to pick up my French or Spanish. I have only reached a very very basic level (and probably have forgotten most of it), but I am a quick learner. So, if anyone who speaks French or Spanish is interested in learning or just practising Mandarin (Putonghua) or Cantonese or even English, I proposed a language swap. We can meet over a coffee and take things from there.
Looking forward to hear from anyone that is interested! *So excited*!!
