Moving to Guangzhou

Hi everyone,

I'm going to work in Guangzhou in two weeks and I'm starting to get a little nervous as I don't know what to expect. I've done some research...well lots..but I'm still worrying about everything from will it be easy to make friends/have a social life to what clothes to take, if I can buy my usual brands there, coping with mosquitoes, change of food and even plug adapters!!! I would love to chat with people living there so I've got a better idea of what to expect! If anyone's got any info on anything at all about Guanghzou it will all be greatly appreciated!
