Moving to GZ as a mummy to 9 month old- help! (Guangzhou)

Hi all, my husband and I are about to fly out in a couple of weeks, but are just wondering what type of things to take with us, against what is cheap enough to buy there.... Toiletries, shoes, clothes ( for size above a small Chinese! Ha ha! ) baby bits etc?
Our little one is 9 months, can I get baby milk there and what about baby food? Is it worth bringing some with us?

Any light on the subject would be great!
