Moving from UK to Guayaquil

Hi everyone We are moving to Guayaquil in June next year as a permanent move. I am British but my husband is Ecuadorian. Will I need work visa as I plan to transfer my job here in the UK to Guayaquil. Also will my white goods work over there voltage in my new house is 220v for cooker and aircon. My cooker is lpg converted so that's not a problem but what about the fridge freezer and dishwasher? I'm thinking I may need a voltage converter.

Any tips for the move greatly appreciated. Anyone in the la Joya area?
