Wannabe Expat (Guayaquil)

I know you have heard it before, but I'm thinking of moving to Ecuador for retirement. I have read a lot of information on the web, but most seems to be connected to selling real estate. I now am reading blogs from people that have made the transition and have found it helpful, but I need more of the basic information as well.
