Appartments in Gurgaon or south Delhi

Hi, I will move to new delhi next month and I've looking for guidance in the web on housing, schooling and all other aspects of rellocation.
I have not been able to understand where to live whether should be gurgaon or south delhi (advantages and disadvantages). I am looking for a place where my family stays safe and comfortable.
Any recommendations?
