In our Content Department, more than Protected content work on the statistics and topic pages for our different national platforms. Each day, while focusing on their specific fields, our experts research and prepare new data from the world’s most significant sources for our platforms: Protected content .
-Conducting data research on e-commerce markets and the digital economy in Greater China
-Developing in-depth knowledge on current and trending market developments and topics
-Processing, archiving and publishing data in English via the statista.com platform
-Managing web content via our own content management system
-Monitoring the content usage and keep the database up-to-date
THE PERFECT PROFILE
-Successful completion of undergraduate studies
-Exceptional written and spoken English skills
-Good written and spoken Mandarin Chinese skills
-Ability to describe complicated data in a concise and comprehensible manner
-Ability to master our editorial style and design guidelines
-Structured, organized and independent working style with attention to quality, detail and accuracy
You will work in an exciting and innovative company in the heart of Hamburg. As part of a dynamic team, you will find an excellent working environment with very little hierarchy and great potential for promotion within the company.
During the first few months, you will receive trainings on research methods, legal compliance issues, as well as internal work processes. Further, while publishing content on our English language platform, you will get an extensive training to familiarize yourself with our in-house content management solution and our business practices. Ultimately, you will be assigned your "own" industries and will be responsible for managing the corresponding data set. Upon completion, you will be working as a Junior Researcher for Statista.com.
