Looking for an AE/German tandem partner (Hamburg)

Good morning everyone,

I am new to InterNations although I've been living in Germany since summer Protected content .

I am an Austrian who is still trying to figure out how to speak "Hochdeutsch" (there are so many differences... to give you an impression: once a waiter couldn't understand my order in Austrian German, after several attempts I ended up ordering in English).

Of course I will try to speak more "Hochdeutsch" as I am looking for an AE tandem partner. (My company uses AE only.)

If you are a native AE speaker and interested in Austrian culture/cultural differences between Northern Germany and Austria we'd have a lot to share.
