New for Hamburg/Germany

Hi guys,
I am a young professional moving from the India to Hamburg this September to start working in an organisation located in Hamburg. I was wondering if anyone could please give me some advice about good districts to move to. My budget is around Protected content per month and would prefer to rent small apartment. I am keen to find somewhere with a bustling atmosphere and where I can meet other young people/ students/ grads...:-)

Any thoughts on good districts/ areas to look into? Would be appreciated.
Also, I would like to add that my English is fluent but does not know any German (though would be interested in learning). I wonder would there be problems?
