Skating in Hamburg

As a Dutch guy I need to skate when the water is frozen. Where in the city is a good ice quality? I skated on the Alster today but the ice there is unfortunately messed up by boats. I inspected it, unintentionally, from very close resulting in a few bruised ribs.
