Warning about ITO Hamburg: lost our shipment!

I'm writing to share our terrible experience with ITO Hamburg, so that others won't have the same problem. We shipped our belongings from the U.S. in June, expecting them to arrive in Hamburg in August. We were notified of customs clearance on the 9th of September. Then, ITO Hamburg claimed that their truck (one and only?!?) was broken and rescheduled the delivery -- after many emails with stalling, delays and blaming their negligence on our internet, we were finally notified that our shipment was completely lost. Since then, they have been utterly useless and rude.
Whatever you do, DO NOT USE ITO Hamburg for any reason!!
