Writer living in Germany; health insurance Q (Hannover)

Hi all,

I have a complicated question. My husband has an offer for a job in Sarstedt, and they have asked if I will be working in Germany or not...for health insurance questions.

The simple answer is that yes, I will be writing novels while in Germany and receiving royalties for them--but from an American publishing company. (And, I might add, pittance. Like, maybe $300 a month if I'm lucky.)

Do we respond with "No, she will not be working for a Germany company," or "Yes, she will be working, but as a writer receiving American royalties."

If you don't know the answer to this question, you wouldn't happen to know someone who does, would you? :-)
