air quality Q. before I look further into jobs... (Hanoi)

Hello Everyone, I hear everywhere how everyone loves Hanoi and I was thinking about taking a job there. But I don't hear much about the air pollution/quality. Has it gotten better? I have allergies year-round (not asthma at this time), but I'm worried horrible air will make me sick. Don't want to take a job out there and not be able to cancel my contract if I get sick.
