Choosing neighborhood to stay in Hanoi

Hello,

I plan to be in Hanoi this April. My job allows me to work remotely so I will be working on the computer during the day and exploring/enjoying the city in the evening. I am trying to figure out which neighborhood I should stay in. I am looking for an area that is nice and central/convenient but not too noisy. It should also be nearby basic amenities (ie groceries, restaurants) and an exercise area (ie gym, park). Could you please offer some suggestions?
