Doing freelance work in home country (Hanoi)

I have managed to get some freelance work in my home country, I will be writing some texts for websites. As I am living in Vietnam now, I was planning to operate the business from here. My question is now whether I officially need to establish a company or whether just having a tax number, or being a person (like it would be for consultancy work in Vietnam) is enough.
