Skype and internet - please help advise! (Havana)

I leave tomorrow for Havana, for 5 weeks. But for my work, I need internet all day and I need skype to talk to colleagues for Protected content per day. I see only expensive hotels have interet and it is not fast..and skype might not work. Casa particulares tend not to have internet. Any ideas?
I booked for 3 nights and then I need a place for almost 5 weeks..with good internet. If skype does not work, I need a phone line. But I think skype calls (not the free skype internet calls) do not even work from Cuba.
