Live music Hale 02 (Heidelberg)

This month’s edition of, Barrio Clandestino will be an unforgettable night! On 18 February, Protected content groups from drastically different lands can take the stage at Halle 02 to perform tales of their life-journeys.

Millionba Soundsystem is a band which is formed of musicians from different parts of Africa and Europe, with musicians that have arrived to Germany under difficult circumstances, most of them living currently in the barracks. After months of hard work they have managed to put a show together and will bring it to the stage of Halle 02 for the first time!

The Trouble Notes are an international trio with roots in England, Germany and the United States. The group’s musical repertoire developed as a soundtrack of their extensive travels – featuring the emotional melodies of violinist, Bennet Cerven, vivid soundscapes of guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and driving rhythms of percussionist Oliver Maguire. Their new show, The Prologue, debuted at Lido in Berlin in December Protected content a sold-out audience and is meant to be a “day in the life” of a traveling street musician. They have taken the stage at many of Europe’s biggest festivals and were the featured band at the European Film Awards Protected content Berlin.

The night will end with our Heidelberg residents - Nordakas – featuring artists from South America, Europe, Africa, and North America. Armed with their native cultural instruments and experiences, Nordakas express their emotions through one of the only ways that everybody understands – their music.

Be ready for a musical marathon, as the historical Villa Zapata with DJ Marcello is ready to make you dance until that last hours of the night!!
