Academic Career in Finland. (Helsinki)

Hello everybody!

I am Brazilian professor interested in pursue a PhD programmme in Finland. Besides, I willing to move permanently to Finland with my family (my wife and a 11 years old daughter) and develop an academic career there, if be possible.

I am taking some Finnish classes. I would like to "fit" in Finnish culture. However, I had read that there is a such bigotry in Finland. Is that true?
