I'm Now in Finland (Helsinki)

Hello all, please can somebody help to update me on the benefits of registering with a maistraatti? I am registered with a maistraatii having come to study for a PhD. Is public health services free for me? I am planning to bring my family to Finland. My wife and 4 kids: there ages are 7, 6, 3 and 1. Is health care free for them? Is education free for them? Though I do not have a Kela card yet. Without a kela card what benefits are my family entitled to including my kids. Pls help for I want to know before I bring them. Thanks all
