Sales & Operations Manager Retail Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City)

JOB FUNCTIONS:

General Duties:

Manages operations of the AGM retail stores in the areas of store operations; human resources; finance; inventory & buying; customer care; logistics; merchandising, information technology; and administration.
To improve the commercial performance of the stores by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability.
Ensuring that all stores operate under the approved standard procedures.

Specific Duties:

Identifies sales opportunities and work with marketing to develop these channels
Coordinates with Marketing to come up with/formulate customer sales activities
Ensure successful implementation of Special Promotions (loyalty programs) Display and Events (wine tastings, etc.)
Managing and motivating the retail store team to increase sales and maximize efficiency to ensure maximum profit
Oversees achievement of sales budgets and goals
Decide retail selling strategies
Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits;
Recommend, establish, and implement store procedures and policies.
Initiate standard procedures to ensure effective operations of the store
Apply operational changes to improve the business efficiency
Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal and security issues of people and other assets of the business
Dealing with staffing issues:
Ensure training and development of Management and staff
interviewing potential staff; determine salary and work levels, conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organizing training and development;
Making key decisions about stock control and ordering for the Retail Sales
Managing stock levels and ordering of products for the retail sales of AGM
Ensure safety of stock and procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency of rotation
Responding to customer complaints and comments;
Updates on business performance and new initiatives
Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
Oversee the remodeling of a store, plan store layouts and design displays,
Ensures that all equipment for the stores are in place
Ensures the legal requirements for the stores in place
Seeks licenses & permits as needed
Negotiations with suppliers as needed

JOB PROFILE:

Experience
Experienced in supermarket or gourmet store management- minimum Protected content . Operations Management preferred
Between Protected content old, male or female
English speaker. Vietnamese language a plus

Education
University Degree or equivalent

Skills
English Native Speaker
Have a pleasing personality and good in customer relations.
Must have good organizational skills and has good eye for detail in store.
Proficient in both oral and written communications
Computer literate
Other important skills: Creative and with high initiative, patient and determined to succeed, organized
Willing to work long hours if needed
Willing to travel within Vietnam
