Thinking of relocating (Ho Chi Minh City)

Hello everyone!

We are a family of 4 in Toronto and my husband is considering a job offer in HCMC. Our sons are 6 and 9.

We have so many questions regarding cost of living, international school options, bringing our cats with us, and more.

I was looking at the Canadian International school but it seems very expensive. My children and I speak french as well. It seems there are many french schools in HCMC. Does anyone have any recommendations?

One major concern we're having a hard time addressing is our son's peanut & tree nut allergy. Does anyone have any experience with food allergies, in restaurants and in schools? I've heard that it is near impossible to buy epipens in Vietnam. Is this true?

Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated as we decide whether to accept this offer or not.
