Moving to Hohhot
Hohhot is a city located in the Mongolian region of China and is known as “The Blue City” because of the color's association with eternity, purity and the sky. It contains within its city limits numerous sights for any expatriate moving to Hohhot to explore. This includes, for example, the Da Zhao Temple, which is the oldest Buddhist monastery in the city, constructed in 1579, as well as the Temple of the Five Pagodas. This temple has many frescoes, for which it is famous. They consist of 1,500 carved figures of Buddha, an engraved Mongolian star chart and the inscription of the diamond Sutra.
