Advice on IT market and contracting? - June 7-9 (Hong Kong)

Hello,

I'm considering to move to Hong Kong Oct/Nov this year, and will be in Hong Kong June 6th-10th with my girlfriend to check out the city a bit more.

I'm wondering if anyone may have some advice on the IT contractor market in Hong Kong? Is there actually a market, or is it more of an employee-type market?
I currently work as an IT contractor in London (via my own Ltd company).

From what I've read so far it seems to be very different to the UK market. Any ex-UK contractor around who could give some advice on the differences of the UK to the Hong Kong IT contractor market?

If someone would like to even meet up for drink that would be great. :)
