anyone in Sheung Wan area? (Hong Kong)

Hello Internations,

Well, I have finally arrived and am settling nicely into Sheung Wan. It suits me perfectly as it seems to be a kind of left of centre/bohemian area.

I have started a blog about coming back to HK after a long time away. I was a little 8 year old when I was last here!

I'm going to immigration on Monday to see if having lived here when I was younger and having been born here will count for anything in terms of getting a visa. You can but try! I am also already in touch with schools in the area and they have requested my C.V so that is a start. For anyone who hasn't seen my posts before, I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher with two years experience. I will apply for the SNET scheme and e-mail schools with my C.V. I don't mind waiting another year to wait for a full time position as I am also starting up a Social Enterprise back in the UK.

I look forward to meeting members next Friday at the Social. If there are any members living in Sheung Wan then it would be nice to meet up.
