Cost of living (Hong Kong)

Although subjective, what would be a 'reasonable' cost of living in HK? I may have a job in Kowloon or New Territories. I have 2 kids 2, 5. Assume I would be the sole "breadwinner" for now. A possible income would be around 600,000 HK$. Would this keep the 4 of us "comfortable"?
