employment law advice needed (Hong Kong)

hi everyone,

i have been doing some research on hong kong employment law and if my understanding is correct I believe I can work 7 days notice if i give notice in my first month of work, whereas my contract states i must give 2 months notice. i started on the 1st august and resigned on monday 2nd September.

i would really appreciate your help here.
