How easy is sponsorship for work visa? (Hong Kong)

Hello everyone,

Quick question regarding sponsorship of work visa. How easy is it to convince a company to sponsor a foreign hire in Hong Kong? Is it common for companies to sponsor foreigners from abroad who apply for jobs, or does it involve a lot of costs and work for the company so that they rather avoid it? From what I understand visas/work permit are not expensive, and there is no quota. Hence it would not seem to difficult, but what is the general consensus out there?
