MAHJONG WORKSHOP (Hong Kong)

Mahjong is played by people of all ages and all backgrounds and is a very common pastime in Hong Kong. Come and learn to play mahjong with other Global Citizens at our headquarters in Central. Suited to all skill levels. Maximum group size is 8 people. Learn a little about the history of Mahjong and find out what keeps your local Hong Kong neighbors so fascinated. You just can't live in Hong Kong and not discover the world of mahjong!

About the teacher:

Debby, a local "Hong Konger", born and brought up in a local village in Hong Kong, has been playing mahjong literally since she was born. Playing mahjong comes along as her in-born skill as her family's weekly activity used to be playing mahjong during her childhood. Even now she's travelled around the world, learnt different languages and graduated into a professional position, she often plays mahjong with her friends as a bonding and leisure activity. If you would like to understand the local culture better, join the workshop and learn it from our Mahjong Expert - Debby!
