Pet Relocation services - worth the money? (Hong Kong)

I'm travelling from Canada to Hong Kong for a six month secondment. I have two cats that I'm bringing with me. I'm wondering if it's worth it to pay for a pet relocation service or if I should just take care of all of the logistics myself.

Does anyone have any experience using pet relocation services versus doing it themselves?
