Sai Kung for a young expat family? (Hong Kong)
Hi! We're relocating to Hong Kong sometime in June and would like to get some opinions on living in Sai Kung.
1. How's the community like in SK? Any language barrier when it comes to shopping for local expenditures?
2. Comparing the rental rates between SK and central, would it be more feasible to be living in the central instead due to convenience of commuting for work (partner works around Kowloon district)?
We have our eyes on SK mainly due to the scenic 'out-of-town' feel, and because we're bringing our pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) along. Also, expecting a pair of twins in a few months hence would like to settle in a 'family-friendly' area. If there's any suggestions on other districts worth looking at, do kindly let me know!
Thank you! :)
