Searching for appartment to rent (Hong Kong)

Hello Expats, I suppose to move to HK next month for work in the University for 3 years. They want me to find my housing on my own. What shall I start with? any internet links to good convenient lending companies? rules and laws I would better know, other recommendations about furniture, areas et cetra... thanks and looking forward to join your big community (here in Leipzig we have rather small one of few active people)
