Teach English as a Foreign Language (Hong Kong)

I am just 55 years old, having visited HK for the third time, my husband and I would dearly love to relocate to HK, however we are concerned about our ages. I am considering taking the TEFL course but I would be struggling with some of the positions I have seen advertised as they ask for at least one year experience. My husband thinks that because of his age he would probably be a house husband so therefore I do need to earn a wage.

It will take a few months for me to complete this course and if I am able, I will look to teaching practice here in the UK in the interim.

Can anyone advise if there are posts where they would not require the previous experience? I would so love to relocate and hopefully sooner rather than later.
