visiting HK end of nov! (Hong Kong)

hi, i will be travelling to HK for work from november Protected content am thinking of staying the weekend till the 30th. my first 2 nights will be in the central area, last night's accommodation unknown. HK hotel prices are eye-popping staggering!

does anyone know of decent hostels/rooms/apartments/motels in central/soho area for no more than US$150?

does anyone want to hang out and show me around during the weekend? i love live bands, craft beers, good scenery and minimal travelling time!
