Travelling to Hawaii (Honolulu)

Hi There,

I am travelling to Hawaii from 26 October to 5 November for holiday.

As I plan to stay on Oahu can someone give me tips where to stay? I prefer hostels/backpacker places or a nice B&B/Guesthouse.

Is it recommendable to stay only in Oahu or also to visit other islands? As I only have 10 day in Hawaii I am not really sure what is the best.

Looking forward to any tips/recommendations.
