a CAR solution...? (Houston)

I'll be in Houston begining this April. Bfore securing a job, i would need a car solution other than buying if possible. If anyone has /or knows of someone that has a car i can rent by the week or perhaps another type of accomodation or arrangement.. Plz, need your input. Anyway, If you have a good idea or suggestion on how to go about in Houston for two months without buying a car right away, i would very much welcome your comments.
