Easiest way to buy a car - new or used (Houston)

My husband and I just moved to Houston 2 weeks ago. We were paying just under $ Protected content week to rent a car because the insurance was so high, so obviously one of our top priorities was getting a car!!
We went to several dealerships and had such massive hoops to jump through each time. We eventually decided to just pay cash - which we were advised against because you need to establish that damn credit record!!
So off we went to Momentum Volkswagen (on Richmond ave) where we met Elizabeth. She was so lovely and totally sympathized with our situation and our frustration.
Elizabeth told us about this Foreign Business Professional Program where they will finance your car for the length of your visa.
By the way, Audi, BMW and Mazda also offer this on new or used cars of their own brand.
You need to bring along the following:
- letter from your company confirming your position
- copy of your Social Security card
- copy of your visa
- proof of address

She had us in a car and in the road in about 3 hours and have us a great interest rate.
What a refreshing experience that was for us.
