Invitation to Book Launch at UH Clear Lake (Houston)

Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 15, when Australian-American author, JAMES HOUSTON TURNER launches his "Ludlumesque" suspense thriller, DEPARTMENT THIRTEEN, at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, from 6:00pm. Sponsored by Jacob's Creek wine and King Island Dairy, Turner, a former smuggler behind the Iron Curtain, will deliver a short message on his exploits and how a real life KGB agent inspired this novel, which chronicles a week in the life of a retired KGB informant who becomes the target of a mysterious group of assassins from Department Thirteen, the actual assassination and sabotage unit of the old KGB. You're invited to join him for refreshments and celebration.
