Wine Tasting and Learning and Good Food (Houston)

i was approached by a member of the group about doing some kind of food and wine education that goes with my job at Specs. The idea would be to do a meeting every month or every two months at a BYOB restaurant, bring a lineup of wines to taste and sample good food at the chosen restaurant.
The idea is to provide the interested people with new great food places, learn more about wines, etc.
The costs for the dinner would be on each attendant, the costs for the wine would be shared among all present (in the past I have done this for about 20 USD per person for the wine part). I reckon that the costs per person for something like this can be in the range of 50 USD.
Who would be interested in something like this?
