12 Walks in 12 Weeks is Back -- Well kind of.. (Istanbul)

Hi Everyone

I wanted to let you know about a great opportunity for those who enjoy exploring Istanbul by foot. This Saturday, three of our own Internations members, Ibrahim Ozen, Jackie McCormack and myself, will be hosting a walking tour of the Sultanahmet area. We'll explore some of Istanbul's most popular sites (Grand Bazaar, etc) and also check out some of the lesser known spots in this historic district. Our walk will culminate in refreshing tea and tavla (backgammon) session at a local cafe.

If you're new to the city and have not visited these places, or if you'd just like to enjoy the beginning of Spring with a walk in the old city, please join use. We will meet at the Basilica Cistern in Sultanahmet at 2pm.
