A day in Istanbul

Hi everyone,
I am going to travel to Europe next week on the 4th of May with a long lay over of 9 hours in Istanbul. Although a lay over can be an annoying thing, I am so happy actually for having this long lay over.
Any suggestions for what I can see around the city within a day, where I can have a nice dinner?.
