Bus trips from Istanbul to Albania

Hey I am planning a trip to go from Istanbul to Albania I would like to travel by bus or train. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be so greatly appreciated! I have hear rumors that the trains are not working going into Bulgaria/Romania. Also from my research I keep getting dead ends and just old information.
