DIVING COURSES IN ISTANBUL (Istanbul)

Diving center OCEAN DIVERS in Istanbul accepts applications for a CMAS 1 star diver training (CMAS 1 yıldız dalıcı sertıfıkası egtim). Upon completion of the training, a CMAS 1 star diving certificate is issued by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (Türkiye Sualtı Sporları Federasyonu ). This internationally recognized certificate will allow diving as deep as 18 meters with an instructor.

Those who already have a CMAS 1* or its equivalent (PADI Open Water Diver certificate) may apply for CMAS 2 star (2 yildiz) training and CMAS 3 star training respectively.

CMAS 1 star diver training consists of 2 components.

1) A theoretical course which costs Protected content . This fee includes:

* 6 hours of theory (3 hrs each lesson) in our office in Besiktas.
* Course materials (a textbook and CD)
* Exam fee
* Expenses for handling paper work and application to the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) in order to obtain certificates for the students who successfully complete the training.

Lessons are offered in one of the following languages: English, Turkish, and Russian.

2) Practical component:

4 dives in the open water with an instructor.
These 4 dives can be made during one of our tours. To learn more about the dates and places for upcoming tours and events please visit out page on Facebook or call our office. Your questions will be answered in either Turkish or English language.

NOTE: The order in which you can complete theory and practice is interchangeable. You may start with the 4 dives THIS WEEKEND in Ayvalik and take classes anytime later. There is no time limit for completion of both parts of the training.
