Expats in Izmit? (Istanbul)

Hi all,

I'm Elisabeth from Sweden and I'm currently doing my PhD in Izmit, at Kocaeli University. I wonder if there are other expats living here or if you know someone who does? I am currently facing some rather major cultural differences with the Turkish lady whom I staying with so I felt the urge to connect with other 'yabancilar' and share experiences. :)
