F&BGI's 30th Event: Wine-paired Thanksgiving Lunch (Istanbul)

A WINE-PAIRED Thanksgiving luncheon that almost coincides with the American Thanksgiving holiday – at an unbelievably celebratory price of 65TL CASH ONLY.

The special mezze and seafood menu for our group is markedly different from the luxury hotel’s usual Thanksgiving fare which costs the same as ours but only provides one glass of wine.

Due to the discounted price accorded us to mark our 30th event in less than two years of existence as arguably Istanbul’s most active foodies’ organization, no changes may be requested as far as the menu items are concerned. So please, non-seafood-lovers, take note.

Family style “Mezzes”
Tuna Lakerda, smoked eggplant salad, hummus,
cercerun, terebentin mezze, grape leaves dolma,
sea asparagus,” muhammara”
(This array of 8 mezze dishes will be shared by every four guests and will be served with either Sevilen “R” Rose or Sevilen Sauvignon Blanc)

Pan fried “Hamsi”
Pan fried anchovies, “Sakarca” wild grass salad, “kuymak” organic corn flour

Grilled Seabass
Grilled oyster mushroom, crushed parsley potatoes
(To be paired with Pendore Öküzgözü red wine)

Family Style Dessert
Oven baked quince, cheese cake, strawberry tart, chocolate pain de gene

Additionally, we’ll be treated to possibly the earliest gluhwein of the season during Assembly 12 Noon (sit down to eat 12:45 pm sharp).
