5 Internations foodies are invited to join 20 F&BGI members to the second dinner after the second year of our very active Food & Beverage Group Istanbul which happens to be ”il retorno” to Alta Cucina Italiana.
The last time we had Italian fine dining was done the Northern Italian way so now we’re having its southern counterpart as executed by Giovanni Terracciano, the native Neapolitan Chef of AzzuR rstaurant at Movenpick Hotel Istanbul. He has made an enviable name in these parts after being in the helm of some of the city’s best Italian restaurants like Cipriani, Spazzio, Les Ottomans 29 and Hotel Palazzo Donizetti.
For this F&BGI 35th dinner, Giovanni, who has privately cooked for celebrities the likes of Morgan Freeman, Meg Ryan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sir Elton John, “Princess of Tibet” Yabshi Pan Rinzinwangmo, Jackien Chan, Ferzan Özpetek, Kevin Costner, Al Bano and George Bush, is pleased to indulge the group with a special degustation menu that immediately brings to mind his and AzzuR’s Mediterranean roots.
The dishes of the menu will be matched by UNLIMITED premium wines courtesy of the highly rated (at the recently concluded 4th Masters of Wine Weekend) SEVILEN Wines.
