Istanbul, Turkey – Democrats Abroad Turkey will co-host an inaugural celebration on January 20th, joining celebrants across the globe as they mark the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. It will be a night that all Americans - and much of the world - will remember for a long time.
Democrats Abroad is the official arm of the Democratic Party for Americans living outside of the United States.

The Celebration begins at Protected content followed by a broadcast of the oath of office on Ghetto's TV screens. Live Music and a DJ will round out the evening. Food and drinks will also be available.

Democrats Abroad members across the globe worked to educate Americans living abroad about how and where on earth they can vote, held numerous voter registration drives and encouraged participation in the presidential election, as well as congressional races.
