Internet and cable TV with D-Smart for foreigners (Istanbul)

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to install internet and cable TV with D-Smart but they are saying that I need a 'temporary citizen number' in order to process my claim in the system, which is not the Turkish Tax ID number, nor any number on the residence permit. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? I would really appreciate some advice since it has been more than two weeks of various calls per day with no result.
