Istanbul Cleanup event in Üsküdar on May 12th!

On behalf of Let´s Do It Türkiye team I am asking expats to join the Istanbul Cleanup event which will take place in Üsküdar on Saturday, May 12th. Istanbul Cleanup will be organized with the support and collaboration of Üsküdar Municipality in five different locations in Üsküdar.

We will ask everyone to gather at 10 am sharp next to Üsküdar Municipality building (addr: Mimar Sinan Mah. Hakimiyet-i Milliye Cad. No: 35 Üsküdar; please see exact location on Google map: Protected content . You can reach municipality building by just a short walk from Üsküdar ferry station if you come from that direction.
When you arrive to the spot please look for expats team.

Dress comfortably and note that there will be distributed protective equipment such as gloves, masks, aprons on the site.

Don´t forget to bring along your friend and spread the word about this event.

About Let’s Do It!: The idea for the action grew from the Let's Do It! civic movement that started in Protected content a small Baltic country of Estonia, when on 3rd of May Protected content came out and picked up Protected content of waste in 5 hours, cleaning up the whole territory of the country. The video report on the action went viral and now the one-day cleanup model has been replicated in 15 more countries with staggering results – altogether 2,4 million participants and from 4% to 14,7% (of the whole population) participation rate per country.
