What comes to your mind when you hear people talk about identity?

Is it origin, race, looks, language, religion, nation or culture? ‘Sameness’ as opposed to ‘otherness’? All of it, or something completely different? Does identity restrict or empower? What is the role of identity in our daily lives – and in the national and global context?

Listen to stories from a novelist, a facial surgeon and a former political extremist who talk about their interpretation and the role of identity in their lives. And share your views with us at the next ThinkNChat event.

We will meet on 18th of January, 7.30 pm at Mine Akιn’s cosy art studio ( Protected content ). It is near Vali Konağı Caddesi on Süleyman Nazif sok. no: Protected content off Metro Osmanbey and walk into Rumeli Cd, turn the second street to your right and you will find the entrance on your right hand side).
